Description
West Malling Farmers' Market is held on the fourth Sunday of every month. The market takes place in the High Street between 9.30am-1.30pm.
The High street is closed to traffic and the centre of West Malling is transformed with over 40 stalls. You can buy all your fresh produce, locally produced preserves, fruit juice, beer, bread, cakes and lots more with plenty of samples. There are a few local craft stalls and even an ecover refill station. Most of the towns independent traders also open on market day and the market square is surrounded by a great variety of shops, pubs restaurants and coffee shops which make it a great destination for all the family.
As well as serving the local people of West Malling, because of its great transport links, regular customers come from all over Kent and South East London.
Most of the producers come from Kent but being such a large market there also are specialist producers from neighbouring counties.
Every month there is a free pitch available for a local charity or organisation, please contact Steve if you are interested.
